Our research interests focus on design and synthesis of heterocycles having potent functionalities of biological/biomimetic activity, molecular and/or ion sensing, and luminescence. We are particularly interested in the development of drug candidates for diabetes and diabetic complications. We are also keenly working on designing and synthesis of highly intensive luminescent molecules derived from the luminous marine organisms.
